Loved and Reminded

William Blake was on the Oncology Day Ward today. He snuck up on me - And so, along with the treatment drops Came whispering gently this: "We are put on this earth For a little space That we might learn to bear The beams of love" This and the Oncology Day Ward's reminder: We are not forever ( Unsubtle, but not unkind) Thus, We here on this particular ward's "little space" - Not on our Christmas wish list to be here, But Here we are: Loved And Reminded: Bearing the beams of love And Knowing we are not forever.
