We used to We used to Take the bus into town, Walk crowded streets, Go into Hodges and Figgis And just be among the books We used to Meet up with friends in crowded coffee shops With a hug, a kiss, A handshake, Have people over, Go to the restaurant On Tuesday Steak Night And stop at the pub beforehand And maybe even after We used to Book flights And even board them, Go places and come back, Board crowded trains And free-travel our way Across the country We used to Go shopping And never even think about it, Have a coffee, lunch And crowded- bus it back home We used to We used to do all these things, Go to all these places And see all these people We used to ... And now we don't And if/when we can again, We won't know ourselves... if.
